CCTV surveys - Drains, sewers & pipelines
Inspecting the condition of drains, sewers and pipelines by CCTV surveying has always been a major part of our business. We provide a fast and effective service for the inspection of all types of pipes and sewers using the latest equipment, reports and data from these surveys are provided to our client’s in a clear and concise report. Our CCTV surveyors are qualified to Water Industry standards to ensure consistency and reliability of the information supplied to our customers.
Typically we will be called in to carry out a condition survey before and after construction or to trace and provide a report on a problem drain or sewer. Drainage plans, site drainage layouts and recommendations on repair options are all part of the service we offer.
Satellite camera lateral inspection
Waterflow's satelite camera is operated remotely and can be used to inspect lateral sewer connections up to 30m in length. Gaining access to carry out a CCTV survey of drainage serving a property can be difficult, The Waterflow LISY (Lateral Inspection SYstem) camera can solve this problem as it operates from within the public sewer or main carrier pipe.
The LISY 150 comprises of a mainline CCTV survey system mounted on a self propelled tractor that also houses a smaller "piggyback" satellite camera. This satellite camera is launched from the main tractor using a fibreglass rod and can be pushed inside the lateral connection. The smaller camera has pan tilt and zoom facilities enabling a thorough inspection of the condition of any lateral connection. Because this camera is fitted with "Sond" the position of the camera can also be detected above ground, greatly assisting any pipe or sewer location or mapping operation.
This can be particularly useful when pre construction site surveys are being undertaken as we can survey the main drainage and identify and survey lateral connections in one operation.
