Bio-remediation of Fats, Oils & Grease

Health & Education establishments & campuses

Waterflow provide a managed service integrating bio-remediation in a planned maintenance regime to reduce costs, risks and environmental impact for hospitals, clinics, schools, colleges and universities.

Where fats, oils and grease are generated and enter drainage systems, the maintainer is responsible for ensuring they do not discharge to public drainage systems.  This requires the installation of interceptors and traps to separate them and an associated maintenance regime to ensure effective, reliable operation.

Bio-remediation uses naturally occurring bacteria to break down these potential pollutants, decreasing he need for physical maintenance and reducing the associated environmental impact.  This can only be undertaken if you want to commit to a non-chemical cleaning regime for every area that feeds into the drainage system in question. We can also help you find appropriate biological cleaning agents and suppliers if required.
