Waterflow operates one of the largest CCTV fleets in the UK with a range of push road and crawler mounted cameras to enable us to survey any drain. This CCTV inspection technology is supported by sewer and drain cleaning equipment that enables us to prepare the pipes for an effective survey.
A blockage clearance, flood or other incident may lead to concern regarding the condition of a drain run or even the site wide drainage. Proactive asset management or building works may also necessitate drainage surveys.
Mapping & validation surveys
Where customers pro-actively managing their assets, Waterflow frequently provide a managed service for drainage. The first step is always to map and inspect the current drainage systems.
Our experienced teams can map and prove drainage runs with CCTV inspection, sonding and drain dyes as appropriate. We can then produce plans and schematics or update your existing plans as appropriate.
Prior to building works it is important to establish the condition of the drains and then to re-inspect post construction to ensure there has been no damage done to or debris introduced. Many customers use us for these validation surveys and ask us to clean the system during the post works survey as part of their annual maintenance regime to save money.
