UKDN and Waterflow join forces

The largest UK drainage firm

We are delighted to announce that UKDN has acquired Waterflow - a move which creates a clear market-leader in specialist drainage services.

This deal sees industry leaders from different sectors coming together to create the UK’s largest “Total Drainage Solution Provider” with a turnover of £50 million and which employs more than 500 people across a nationwide network of 17 depots.

The senior management teams from both businesses see this as an exciting opportunity and fantastic news for our employees and our customers. 

We are now the biggest independent in the sector with strong financial backers and a plan to continue growing significantly over the coming months and years. 

This growth will provide customers with an increased range of services, geographic coverage and technical expertise as well as flexible resourcing to respond quickly to requirements of varying size.

The deal was hugely attractive for both businesses as we share many similarities in terms of our culture of professionalism and continual innovation.  In addition both businesses have a reputation for delivering high service levels in demanding markets.

Over the coming weeks there will be much behind the scenes hard work as we bring the two businesses together, integrating systems, processes and cultures.
