DrainView - Rapid CCTV drain inspection & survey
As a specialist contractor we want to be at the forefront with technology. Having recently made significant investments in the latest CCTV surveying equipment for pipe and manhole inspection we were delighted when we were asked to survey over thirty kilometres of track drainage in a very short timescale. This challenge we felt could be effectively tackled by using this new technology “DrainView”.
Low light CCTV survey
DrainView enables Waterflow to very quickly survey sections of pipe with its low light camera and very long zoom capabilities, allowing Waterflow to quickly identify any drainage that is heavily silted, partially flooded or contains other obstructions that prevent conventional through the pipe surveys. Images of the pipe condition can be recorded for reporting purposes.
Surveying kilometres of track drainage during short night shifts is difficult enough; using DrainView enabled us to clearly identify pipes that required cleaning or other works and those that could be immediately programmed for through the pipe surveys, a major benefit when timescales and costs are crucial.
