TrackDrain UV - Track drainage rehabilitation
Using specialist equipment, tried and tested in the UK water industry, we have developed a unique process for the rehabilitation of broken and defective track drainage.
Highly portable plant utilising the latest pipe lining technology has successfully installed UV cured liners in the most demanding sites within the railway environment.
This important development provides our rail clients with an alternative to expensive and often disruptive open cut replacement of damaged track drainage. The key benefits include:
- Very fast installation, liners can be installed during possessions
- Can be installed anywhere:
- Four foot
- Six foot
- 10 foot
- P&C
- Beneath signals, platforms and embankments
Under normal circumstances installing a cured in place liner to rehabilitate a broken or defective track drain would cause a further problem as the track drain is intended to allow water to drain into it from the track bed. The liner would totally seal the pipe and prevent the track drain from operating as a land drain. The Waterflow group have developed unique equipment that enables us to cut through the liner and host pipe to create many more pathways via which water can drain effectively from the track bed.
This patented equipment is the key to the very effective “TRACKDRAIN UV” process.
