Waterflow have, over the years, perfected the best ways of
removing the heavy scale and cement deposits that can sometimes be found in pipes and sewers. We have found that
water at very high pressure is the most effective cutting tool for these kinds of jobs and using spinning water jets and high pressure water we are able to cut out roots that have grown into and clogged pipes. These techniques, used in conjunction with our
CCTV survey service are extremely efficient and also provide a very useful ‘no dig’ method of sewer maintenance.
Some of the typical cleaning applications for Very High Pressure Jetting:
- High pressure cleaning of concrete surfaces using a hand held high pressure lance
- High pressure cleaning of steel structures
- Removal of graffiti or paint from both concrete and steel structure
- Cleaning of roadway and runway surfaces, removing rubber, oil, grease and debris
- Blasting pump chamber surfaces to remove grease and heavy deposits
- Tunnel and culvert surface structure cleaning
Root and Scale removal from pipelines and Sewers by Very High Pressure Jetting
Waterflow have perfected the removal of root and scale from pipelines and sewers by using directional water jet cutters, skid mounted rotating water-jetting heads winched through the sewer or pipeline and chain flails used to remove very heavy intruding tap roots. Water jets, set at a pre detemined angle, at pressures of up to 10,000psi are aimed at pipe’s internal surface and cuts away at the root and/or scale, effectively removing it. We are able to control the water pressure used to ensure that the minimum effective pressure is used at all times to prevent damage to the pipe and monitor the process using our CCTV services to ensure that the process is properly completed.
Some of the typical removal applications for Very High Pressure jetting:
- Removal of cement deposits from sewer and pipelines
- Removal of root infiltration from drains and sewers
- Removal of hard scale deposits from drains and sewers
