Innovation

Innovation has been very much at the forefront of our success in the rail industry; we have developed solutions that have greatly benefited our rail clients. One example would be the renovation of broken track drainage using specially adapted UV lining plant. This equipment has to be highly mobile, easy to operate and totally effective in order to be able to line through and renovate damaged track drainage within the short engineering shifts of just a few hours per night. This alternative to very expensive excavation and replacement, results in substantial cost savings for the client. This process was voted the winner of the UKSTT Innovations award in 2007.
