Waterflow provides a wide range of civil engineering services to Metronet, Tube Lines and Network Rail. We have worked safely on the UK rail infrastructure since 1983, the services we provide cover all works related to civil engineering and building maintenance with particular experience in drainage. We are Link-Up registered and have our own rail trained managers, supervisors and operatives. Safety is paramount in this environment and Waterflow has an excellent safety record. We have a rail safety case and very robust Waterflow safety, quality and environmental management systems and procedures.

The number of staff and operatives involved on rail contracts averages 75, typically comprising 12 management staff, project managers and senior managers together with 63 operatives including supervisors and protection masters. This number often rises to more than 150 staff working during busier periods or during possessions.

Waterflow has one of the largest fleets of owned plant in the country for primary works activities enabling us to respond rapidly to our clients needs.

Health and safety is of paramount importance and Waterflow has its own health and safety team for rail. All principle managers hold recognised health and safety qualifications and have the knowledge and experience essential to keep work progressing in the complex rail environment.
